Who Are We?
A Wright & Son Builders is a family owned building company covering the Ipswich, Suffolk and Essex areas. We provide a complete service and undertake work ranging from small resident contracts such as patios brick walls etc. through to large scale commercial projects. Our clients include private individual, local and national companies, local councils, public bodies and insurance companies. We are an approved Ipswich Borough Council contractor and work closely with the council to ensure all building, planning and health & safety regulations are complied with.
All work is completed by qualified tradesmen and is overseen by the company Managing Director who has over 30 years experience within the building and construction industry. Qualified tradesmen include bricklayers, plumbers, roofers, carpenters, tilers, electricians, ground workers, plasters, and decorators. These qualified tradesmen allow us to offer our customers a complete and professional service.
A Wright & Son Builders staff and owners have a long history within the building and construction industry within Ipswich and Suffolk. Originally part of Wright & Son Stonemasonry of Cemetery Road Ipswich (Est. 1887) the stonemasonry business expanded into general building in the 1960’s. The Building business has grown successfully and approximately 5 years ago the building staff decided to operate independently of the stonemasonry business. Although the Wright & Son Stonemasonry and A Wright & Son Builders are now separately owned they continue to enjoy a close business relationship.
